Established by the the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Hang Seng Bank in 2007, the “Hang Seng Pearl River Delta Environmental Awards” was set up under the manufacturing category of the One Factory-One Year-One Environmental Project (1-1-1) Programme launched by FHKI in 2005. The Awards aim to recognise and encourage sound environmental practices by manufacturing companies (including transportation and logistics) in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region.
The aim of the Programme is to reduce pollution that affects people in Hong Kong and the PRD region.
