The members of HKEAIA visited the campus of PolyU including laboratories of optical fibre, laser processing, sound insulation and product testing; as well as the House of Innovation where joint projects between PolyU and the industry were showcased.Dr. Sunny Chai, president of HKEAIA presented a souvenir to Prof. Timothy W. Tong, Ph.D., Principal of PolyU, during the opening of Product Design Show 2012 organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.To conclude the site visit Professor Lau gave speech themed “Missing the Gap” to outline the future plans of Department of Mechanical Engineering along with Q&A discussions.
